About Us

Michèle Lemarchand, president for 10 years of the Tagore Cultural Center in Marseille, is increasingly called upon by companies in the region to develop business relations with India. As no adequate structure existed in the region, Michèle Lemarchand decided to create a Franco-Indian Chamber of Commerce and Industry in the Marseille Provence region, with the support of the Indian Embassy in Paris.

The approval of the Prefecture for the creation of a bilateral chamber of commerce requiring at least 3 years of activity in associative form, the Business Club France India was created for this purpose in January 2014.
